June 4th 2014  Lesson 79

Let me recognize the problem so it can be solved.

  • Intention:  To see the problem of "separation from God" as the only problem we have.
  • Practice: Two 15-minute sessions with eyes closed.  In addition, frequent shorter (2-minute) applications of today's idea.
  • Application: Long sessions -- With eyes closed, ask God what is the problem (with my life,) and what is the answer to it.  We will acknowledge that we do not know these things, and so we will free our mind of all the many different kinds of problems we think we have and realize that we really have only one problem, which we have not recognized.

We ask God to tell us what our single problem is, then wait in silence for His answer.  We will be told.  Then we will ask for the solution to it, and God will tell us.

Do not insist on defining the problem, and as best you can, let go of all your preconceived notions that have not helped you, so in the least, be critical of them.  Recognize that the answer to the problem lies in recognizing the problem.
  • Application:  Short sessions -- Recognize that there is only one problem and therefore only one answer, and in this recognition lies peace.  With closed eyes repeat today's idea in the following form and suspend all judgment about what the problem is, and you will be answered.
Let me recognize this problem so it can be solved.

Insights/comments:
  • Another thing that supports today's idea is that we are all One.  Only one thing is real and therefore our perception of multiple problems is an illusion.  Furthermore, only one answer exist, and that answer is the same as the only thing that exists.  Oneness simplifies things.

I and my Creator are One.  *:)
