June 20th 2014 Lesson 95
I am one Self, united with my Creator.
- Intention: To remember that I am one Self, united with my Creator, at one with every aspect of creation, and limitless in power and in peace..
- Practice: The first Five-minutes of every waking hour as best you can, but at least remember to repeat today's thoughts each hour. Be determined to remember!
- Application: -- Begin by offering your mind with all certainty the following assurance: I am one Self, united with my Creator, at one with every
aspect of creation, and limitless in power and in peace
Now close your eyes and repeat several times slowly and thoughtfully: "I am one Self ." Let yourself feel the meaning the words convey and let them sink into your mind, replacing false ideas. You are one Self, united and secure in light and peace and joy. You are God's Child, one Self, with one Creator and one goal; to bring awareness of this oneness to all minds, that true creation may extend the allness and the unity of God. You are one Self, complete and healed and whole, the light of the world, in perfect harmony with all there is, and all that will be. Feel this one Self in you and let it shine away all your illusions and doubts. This is your Self. This is who you are. Remember your Self.
Be vigilant to remember your goal to repeat today's idea as frequently as possible throughout the day, and understand each time you do so, someone hears the voice of hope, the stirring of the truth within his mind, the gentle rustling of the wings of peace. To everyone you meet today, be sure to give the promise of today's idea and tell him this:
You are one Self with me, united with our Creator in this Self. I honor you because of What I am and What He is, Who loves us both as One.
Insights/comments:
- I am one Self, united with my Creator. We are one Self united with our Creator. Oneness is clear unambiguous and unalterable. Unity expresses itself as infinite iterations of its one Self within infinitely smaller concentric boundaries. Everything exist within something. Cells live within our bodies, bodies live on earth, earth within our solar system, our solar system within our galaxy our galaxy within the universe etc. Within the boundary of a cell there are smaller boundaries, like electrons, protons, neutrons, etc. Infinity in all directions, but all within one infinite Self.
- We
are eternal Spirits wearing the costumed garb of bodies in a staged
performance, pretending to be separate aspects of the unified oneness
that we are. This is all great fun and games and make-believe, but
somewhere along the way, we forgot our oneness and started believing our
make-believe illusions were real; our make-believe world became our
reality; our fun and games became our pain and suffering. But our true
reality as Spirit cannot be undone, even in our forgetfulness, so our
only challenge is to remember, and the process for remembering is repetition,
the same process we used to forget our oneness. Let us play and make
believe the truth is true, that we are one Spirit, until we forget our
separateness and throw off the costumed garb of bodies and wake up to
eternity and to God.
- We are Spirit; we are perfect, in the likeness of our Creator; and we are free, free to choose to be like Him.
I and my Creator are One.
