June 17th 2014 Lesson 92
Miracles are seen in light, and light and strength are one.
- Intention: To feel the strength of God in us. His strength is the light in which we see and it is His Mind with which we think.
- Practice: Two 20-minute sessions with eyes closed. In addition, repeat today's statement as frequently as you can.
- Application: Long sessions
-- Repeat today's idea a few times then close your eyes and sink deep into the abiding quiet of your higher Self--the strength of God within you. Go
past all thoughts of weakness and worry, past your conviction that it
is the body's mind that thinks and the body's eyes that see. And there
in that quiet place let yourself be filled with the light and thoughts
of God. Feel His strength in you today and remember that you are not
alone for the Source of strength and light is in you. Strength and
light is who you are as a child of God.
The light of strength does not change and flicker and go out. It does not shift from night to day, and back again. It is constant, sure as love, forever glad to give itself away, because it cannot give but to itself. No one can ask in vain to share its sight, and all who enter its abode leave with a miracle before his eyes, and strength and light abiding in his heart. Strength and light unite in you and where they meet, your Self stands ready to embrace you as Its Own. This is the place in you where self and Self are one, that we go to and rest in silence.
- Application: Short sessions
-- Repeat today's idea as frequently as you can throughout the day and
recognize that we are being introduced to sight, and led away from
darkness to the light where only miracles can be perceived.

Insights/comments:
- In the darkness of our sleep we have dreamt that our dream body's eyes can see and its mind can think. Like children at play, we have made up all kinds of rules and laws by which we play, but in truth we are under no laws but God's, and we can indeed change our made-up rules the moment we choose to play by other rules. The stronger our conviction that we are children of God and that the Source of light and strength are one in us, the stronger will we demonstrate this in our actions.
I and my Creator are One.
