August 17th 2014  Lesson 152

The power of decision is my own.

  • Intention:  To recognize and remember that the Truth is true and nothing else is true.  That Truth is consistent, all inclusive, with no opposite, and no exceptions.
  • Practice:  Spend five minutes twice today as we awake, and just before going to sleep to lay aside all our interfering thoughts as one and remember that we are as God us, Perfect Spirit, and Free.  In addition, we will remind ourselves hourly that truth is true and nothing else is true.  We own the power to decide this, and change our experience accordingly.

  • Application: -- Spend five minutes as we awake and before we go to sleep, thinking of truth alone.  encouraging our frightened minds with this:

The power of decision is my own.  This day I will accept myself as what my Father's Will created me to be.

Then will we wait in silence, giving up all self-deceptions, as we humbly ask our Self that He reveal Himself to us.  And He Who never left will com again to our awareness, grateful to restore His home to God, as it was meant to be.

In patience wait for Him throughout the day, and hourly invite Him with these words again.  God's Voice will answer for He speaks for you and for your Father.  He will substitute the peace of God for all your frantic thoughts, the truth of God for self-deceptions, and God's Son for your illusions of yourself.

Insights/comments:
  • We are as God created us, Perfect, Spirit, and Free.  This is the truth, and nothing else is true.  All that seem to contradict this is but illusions and lies we have made to convince us that what is true is false and what is false is true.  The solution to this quandary is to remember that nothing but the truth is true.  What is false will lead to false implications, and similarly, what is true must leads to true implications.  It is our decision to believe what we want to believe, but as we believe, so will our experience be, for what we believe gives rise to what we perceive, and what we perceive in turn dictate our thinking.  As we think, so we act, and our action dictates our accomplishment, which is the basis for our fulfillment.  To maximize our fulfillment then, we must recognize and believe only in what is true.

  • The implications of truth are astounding and have the ability to dramatically change our experience.  We are one with God means that God is always with us, so how could lack, and loss be real?  Where is there room for pain and suffering when the source of joy and comfort is always with us?  What is there to fear when the source of all power is with us?  Let us ponder these and the many more implications of truth, and let it seep into our minds and hearts and remove all illusions of guilt, fear, and death.

I and my Creator are One.  *:)
